Thoughtful Housewarming Gifts

Hey friends!

Recently, one of my good friends just moved into her new home with her husband. They've been building this house for a few months now and I wanted to get them something thoughtful to celebrate this new chapter for them! So I decided to round up a list of thoughtful housewarming (or even wedding!) gifts for any friends, families, or couples in your life who are moving into their new home. PS - no judgement here if you want to get some of these for yourself because I certainly did!

1. A painting of the new home - a really special gift that you can give is a watercolor painting of their new home. Simply give this company a picture of the home and they will bring it to life and add any custom text that you want!

2. A personalized wood cutting/charcuterie board - everyone needs a great wooden cutting/charcuterie board in their life and this one has such a classic feel with the chic monogram design.

3. A gift certificate to their local housecleaning company - there is no feeling better than coming home to a clean house. Find out the address to your friend's new house & look up cleaning services in their area. Most companies will be happy to help you out with getting a gift certificate/voucher to give as a gift.

4. A nice glass pitcher or glass carafes - A new home means visitors and entertaining and it's so nice to be able to put out a big pitcher of tea, sangria, or margaritas. Glass carafes are also perfect for juice or cold brew for a brunch or just making your fridge feel pretty.

6. A fun sign for the laundry room - one of the things I was most excited for when we moved from our townhouse to our current house was a laundry room. Since we all spend time in the laundry room, might as well make it look pretty! This sign cracks me up every time I see it & is great for the laundry room.

7. A personalized front door rug - A doormat is the easiest and first decor item most people put at their house & giving a personalized mat is a thoughtful gift that you can give.

10. An amazing smelling candle - love the Volcano Candle by Anthropologie but not the price tag? This dupe smells EXACTLY like it, and it's even better in my opinion. One of my best friends gave this to me as a house warming present and it's my favorite candle of all time.

11. A monogrammed wreath - a house is not a home without a wreath on the front door. You can get a wooden monogram made and attach it to a boxwood wreath (66% off at West Elm right now) for the perfect door accessory for just about any season of the year.

12. A home item with their favorite team's swag- Is your friend a die-hard fan for a college team? This shop has a ton of chic tailgate-themed home accessories that they'll be sure to use on game day.

13. A notepad with their new address - because we've all got a junk drawer with a notepad to use for grocery lists!
