Amazon Prime Wardrobe

Happy Saturday!
Today, I'm sharing about my recent experience with Prime Wardrobe - a "try before you buy" service on Amazon. I have been an Amazon customer for years and this service is relatively new (less than a year old) so I wanted to give it a try!
HOW IT WORKS
- To be eligible for this service, you do have to be an Amazon Prime member - but these days, who isn't?!
- To use this service, simply type in "Prime Wardrobe" and it will take you to the wardrobe landing page. From here, you can select the department that you want to shop from: men's women's, kids, baby.
- After browsing your chosen category, you can pick up to 8 items to put in your cart.
- You can pick items from different categories to have in the same order. For example, you can pick out a few things for yourself, your husband, and your child.
- After selecting your items, you check out & your Wardrobe Bag is delivered in a few days.
- You have 7 days after delivery to decide what you want to keep & what you don't want to keep.
- A shipping label is included to return any unwanted items.

PROS
- You don't have to leave the house. While shopping at the mall can be really fun, sometimes you just want to stay home.
- Sometimes, it's just better trying things on at home. You've got all of your shoes, jewelry, bags, etc to help you decide if a piece belongs in your closet or not.
- This is GREAT for husbands/men. I don't know about you, but my husband hates shopping and trying things on in-store and would rather do a quick "yes" or "no" on clothes at home.
- You don't have to go to the store to return anything.
- You only pay for what you keep. (It's worth nothing that Amazon does place an authorization charge on your card to ensure you won't steal anything)
- I liked this so much better than other clothing subscription boxes because I got to pick exactly what I wanted rather than being annoyed about getting items I didn't want.
- If you're trying to match a pair of shoes to a dress (if you're in a wedding or for an event), having the shoes delivered to your house is a lot easier than having to take your dress/outfit to the store with you.
CONS
- Not every clothing/shoe item on Amazon's site is available for Wardrobe.
- You can't get 2 of the same item. In other words, you can't get a small & a medium of the same dress.
- A pre-authorization charge does go onto your card.
WHAT I GOT
For my first box, I picked out 6 items and I honestly loved them all - some were for vacation, one for a wedding guest dress & others for work. It was so nice getting to try on the clothes in my own home with normal lighting and see what shoes and earrings would go with them. I'd highly recommend trying out this service if you're an Amazon member, it's risk-free! You can click directly on the post below for links. I hope this helps!
