Happy Monday!
What did you do this weekend?? On Sunday, we checked out a local u-pick blueberry farm and I couldn't believe I had been missing out on this hidden gem for so long! The Starkey Farm is located in the Trinity, Florida area and is open to the public. In addition to their blueberry farm, they have a super cute little farmer's market right down the road. Blueberry season starts in the spring and this is a great activity for the whole family. Admission is free and you pay per the pound of how many blueberries you pick. If you have kids, this is a great activity to do with them. Here's a peak into our day at the blueberry farm!
There is plenty of parking at the Starkey Farm. Once you pull up, you'll see the large pavilion where you'll get checked in and given the run-down.

Next up is a cute hand washing station where you'll be given a bucket for your blueberries.

Now, onto the main event! These blueberry fields are HUGE! I couldn't believe how far back they go. It really feels like you're out in the middle of a huge farm where you can forget about life for a while.

After some fun picking (and sampling!) our blueberries, it was time to check out and bring these back home to eat and use in recipes!
