My Top 10 Favorites of May

1. This fruit tart recipe - Nothing feels fancier than making a classic French pastry like this one. I just subbed "normal" flour with Otto's cassava flour to make it gluten free

2. Frozen Garden smoothie packs - I am a big smoothie lover and these individual frozen smoothie packs from Frozen Garden are the best. Each one has leafy green veggies & you just add water. You can do a monthly subscription or just an individual order. My favorite is the immunity smoothie and I love how their prices are more budget friendly.

3. New Birkenstocks - I finally caved and bought a pair of these Birkenstocks sandals (I'm a Jack Rogers only kind of girl, but I can't deny how comfy these are) because I stand all day and we've got a lot of walking during our trips this summer. If you're looking for sandals that are great for standing/walking all day and a bit more stylish, check out these ones from Birdies , they are super super cute.

4. My new square Rattan purse - These straw purses are so cute, especially for summer. I found both of these bags on eBay for less than $20 each and they had super fast shipping. It's worth noting that I ordered a similarly priced rattan bag from Amazon and it took over 2 months to arrive, so this US eBay seller is the way to go.

5. This month's book - I am always reading a book and I am a huge psychological thriller junkie. For May, I read Pretty Girls by Karin Slaugter and it did not disappoint! I stayed up wayyy past my bedtime many nights reading this book.

6. These earrings from VW earrings - I have been wearing these palm leaf tortoise shell earrings pretty much every day lately. This Etsy store is actually owned and operated by my neighbor and she's got a lot of unique finds. They sell out quickly, but you can message her for a pair. You can use PETITEANDPREPPY15 for 15% off.

7. Bali Market Turkish towels - I love pretty much anything with stripes & tassels and these Turkish towels from Bali Market are super cute. They have hand towels and full size pool towels and are much more compact/lightweight than regular towels.

8. Dip polish kit - I am a full-fledged nail polish addict and love getting gel manicures, but they can really add up! This nail dip kit from Amazon is only $20, comes with 5 colors & gives you a manicure that actually looks like you went to the salon.

9. This romper from Lilly Pulitzer - I've posted like a million times about this romper, but it's seriously one of my favorite outfits that I've gotten from LP in a long time. It's super comfy & perfect for the hot weather. I love how the fabric doesn't wrinkle, making it perfect for travel.

10. Weekender bag from Classic Prep Monograms - pink, pom-poms & a beaded monogram ... need I say more? It's a great size for a day at the beach or pool, or big enough for a weekender.

That's it for May!! Looking forward to new finds for June!

xx Lillian
